The Guardia Civil has issued some key advice for anyone living in a block of flats or urbanisation.
In a social media post, the force said when you are driving back home, there are certain things you need to look out for.
Specifically, it warns about driving into a community garage.
‘You enter the garage and the door starts to close, are you watching who is entering behind you?’
It adds: ‘In community garages, you must ensure the door closes completely.
‘Do not allow people you do not know to enter, and never leave the remote for the garage door inside your car.’
It continued: ‘If you notice anything suspicious, do not intervene, but report it.
‘The garage is also part of the security of your home!’
