A person has been found dead and another injured following an incident at the La Alcaidesa urbanisation in Cadiz, it has emerged.
The discovery was made at around 4.30pm on Saturday in the residential zone located in San Roque.
La Alcaidesa is hugely popular with the British expat community and is just a 15-minute drive from Sotogrande.
According to Andalucía’s 112 emergency service, one person was found dead inside a property, while a second person was discovered injured after reportedly falling from a wall within the same residential complex.
Few details have been released about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Paramedics, Local Police and officers from the Guardia Civil were all dispatched to the scene following the alert.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the identities of those involved or whether the two incidents are directly connected.
An investigation is underway.
