An investigation has been launched into the alleged sexual assault of a four-year-old girl by another minor at a school in Marbella.
The Policia Nacional have released very few details about the case, other than to state that ‘young children are involved.’
The force said it would not release more information because ‘the protection of the child takes precedence.’
According to Malaga Hoy, the complaint was filed by a young victim’s mother, and the incident allegedly occurred on May 12.
The core of the complaint is the account the minor gave to her mother.
The youngster claimed that while in the toilets next to her classroom, she encountered a student she identified as ‘Bro’, who, according to her, was in primary school.
He allegedly ‘pulled down her pants and underwear and hurt her in her private area.’
The regional government delegation told Europa Press that the school has been in contact with the family and has taken steps to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the reported incident.
The Policia Nacional is investigating.
