The latter half of Semana Santa (Holy Week) in Spain sees most shops and supermarkets close.

However, some will open their doors depending on their locations, while others operate on reduced hours.

Below are the opening hours of the main supermarket chains today and tomorrow.

Mercadona: Stores will be closed on both Thursday and Friday in regions where these days are public holidays, including Andalucia. They will reopen on Saturday, April 19.

Carrefour: Operating on a mixed schedule; some stores will remain open on Thursday and Friday, while others may be closed. It’s advisable to check the specific hours of your local store using Carrefour’s online store locator. In Malaga province, it says many of its stores will open between 10am and 10pm on both days.
