This is the moment police in Spain discovered a smuggler wearing a fake pregnancy bump filled with packets of cocaine.

According to the Policia Nacional, the arrest was made at Madrid Barajas airport.

The force’s X account wrote: ‘The stork didn’t bring it, and she didn’t have a bun in the oven…

‘A woman is arrested at Madrid airport for pretending to be pregnant and hiding 2kg of cocaine in a fake bump.’

Footage shared by the force shows an officer inspecting the fake bump after it was seized from the passenger.

Other photos show how she had bricks of cocaine taped to her stomach, which had been hidden by the bump.

The suspect arrived from a transatlantic flight on November 26, when she aroused the suspicion of immigration officers due to her ‘incoherent’ answers when quizzed about her travel plans.

After being searched, officers quickly realised her pregnancy bump was in fact made of silicon.

She is being held in prison ahead of a trial date.
