Anger is mounting over a growing number of car break-ins on the Costa del Sol.

According to reports, up to 18 cars have seen their windows smashed in the Belair and Cancelada area of Estepona overnight.

It comes after yet another photo (below) of a smashed window was shared to a community Facebook group.

The poster wrote: ’18 cars in Belair/Cancelada in the same state… vandalism level 100.’

Scores of Brits and locals commented to say they had been targeted.

One fumed: ‘Someone smashed my windows for the grand total of 12 Cents,’

Another said: ‘We were very lucky, our car and another on the street were the only ones not targeted. How awful for everyone waking up this morning to this.’

Witnesses said police were on the scene investigating on Friday morning, with one Spaniard claiming an arrest had been made.

The Spanish Eye has contacted the Policia Nacional for comment.
