This is the moment a Slovenian drug trafficking network was dismantled in Granada.
The Guardia Civil arrested 19 people following raids on indoor plantations, including one in an underground bunker, while seizing firearms, luxury vehicles and gold.
Three of the arrested are of Slovenian origin and four are being held in remand.
The suspects face allegations including drug trafficking, membership of a criminal organisation, illegal possession of firearms and military weapons and money laundering.
Officers searched 12 properties in Granada city, Almuñecar and Peligros on October 23 and 24 as part of Operation Graveyard 02.
Several contained rooms equipped for growing cannabis and illegal electricity connections supplying the plantations.
Police seized 181kg of marijuana, 1,388 cannabis plants, 805g of hashish and almost €35,000 in cash.
They also recovered gold items valued at approximately €40,000, six high-end vehicles, numerous motocross motorcycles and financial records.
The weapons haul included four handguns, a repeating shotgun, ammunition and magazines.
Among them was a Glock pistol modified to fire automatically, giving it the legal classification of a military weapon, according to the Guardia Civil. A high-capacity magazine was also seized.
Investigators believe the organisation cultivated, bought and transported cannabis for shipment to Slovenia. They have not ruled out links to other countries.
The operation was led by the Guardia Civil’s Judicial Police unit, supported by specialist intervention teams, officers from several Andalucian commands and dog units.
