Canada’s most wanted fugitive has been arrested in Marbella following a three-year international manhunt.
All Boivin, 36, had been on the run since February 2023 before being tracked down to the Costa del Sol.
He was arrested in a joint operation coordinated by the Policia Nacional and law enforcement agencies in Canada.
Quebec provincial police (Sûrete du Quebec) hailed the arrest as a major victory against organised crime.
‘The arrest of All Boivin represents a major milestone for public safety in Quebec and for the fight against organised crime. Our response must likewise be coordinated, agile and determined,’ said SQ director Johanne Beausoleil.
Boivin topped the so-called BOLO Program’s list of Canada’s most wanted fugitives and was the subject of rewards totalling up to 250,000 Canadian dollars for information leading to his capture.
Authorities allege he played a central role in Quebec’s violent organised crime conflict and was the leader of the North Savage Gang.

Investigators also believe he previously worked alongside Dave ‘Pic’ Turmel, the alleged head of the Blood Family Mafia, before the pair reportedly became rivals.
Police accuse Boivin of ordering violent attacks against rival criminal groups, including members of the Hells Angels, across several regions of Quebec.
Canadian authorities say Boivin faces a string of serious charges linked to alleged offences committed in Quebec City, Levis, Saguenay and other municipalities.
The charges include gangsterism, aggravated assault, kidnapping, drug trafficking and arms trafficking.
Spanish courts will now oversee extradition proceedings before he can be returned to Canada to stand trial.

Authorities said the investigation relied on intelligence-sharing between the Sûreté du Québec, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Interpol and Spain’s Policia Nacional, who tracked Boivin’s movements across Europe before locating him in Marbella.
Investigations into his alleged criminal network remain ongoing.
