The wife of Scottish alleged gangster Steven Lyons once worked at the Golden Tarts beauty salon in Marbella, it has emerged.
Amanda Lyons reportedly treated well-known names from the UK’s reality television circuit, including The Only Way Is Essex personalities James ‘Arg’ Argent and Chloe Simms.
Photos from that period show her posing with clients after styling them, capturing a very different chapter of her life years before she would be arrested in Dubai as part of an international drug trafficking probe.
Amanda’s life took a decisive turn after moving to Dubai with her husband in 2018, reports Scottish newspaper the Daily Record.
It was there, investigators believe, that she became involved in the family’s alleged criminal activities.
Last month, she was arrested at Dubai airport as part of a wider crackdown on the Lyons clan and now faces the prospect of a lengthy prison sentence.
The same network of investigations also links back to Johnny Morrissey, described by authorities as a key financial figure within the Kinahan cartel.

He and his wife Nicola, also connected to Marbella’s social and business circles, were arrested in Spain in 2022 during a police raid near the resort.
Spanish police sources cited in the case say intelligence gathered from that operation later proved crucial in targeting the Lyons organisation.
Before their arrest, the Morrisseys had cultivated a public-facing business image, running Nero Vodka and appearing at promotional events alongside celebrities such as Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright.
