The aunt of a 19-year-old boy badly injured in a hit-and-run in Malaga has appealed for witnesses, telling the Spanish Eye how the driver left him ‘bleeding and broken’ on the ground.
Samuel was riding an electric scooter home from work when he was struck near the Parque Tecnologico roundabout at around 11.45pm in Campanillas on Monday night (October 19).
His aunt Camilla told this newspaper he suffered multiple broken bones and a serious head injury.
‘He has broken many bones and a very bad head injury… they are still taking tests,’ she said.
‘The vehicle just left him there bleeding and broken.’
Camilla contacted the Spanish Eye in the hope that readers could help the family establish what happened and identify the vehicle involved.
‘I’m trying every single possibility,’ she said. ‘Maybe someone did see something and [can] give us some information.’
She described the car as white and said it was missing pieces from its front following the collision.

Camilla also said a security camera covered the area, but darkness made it difficult to see details in the footage.
A separate public appeal shared by the Instagram account Fuengirola Se Queja placed the collision at around 11.45pm, near the technology park roundabout in the direction of Campanillas.
That appeal stated that Samuel was dragged for 56 metres, citing a Guardia Civil report. The Spanish Eye has not independently reviewed that document.
Several people stopped to help him and stayed until emergency services arrived. His family now hopes to hear from those who came to his aid, as well as anyone who witnessed the collision.
Camilla said she was determined to find the person responsible.
‘I need to do everything I can,’ she told the Spanish Eye.
Anyone with information about the collision or a white vehicle with front-end damage in the area that night can contact the Spanish Eye so it can be passed to the family.
