A moment of chaos erupted in Marbella on Tuesday night when a car crashed into a pharmacy.
Photos shared online showed how the vehicle had blasted through a barrier and into the shop window on Avenida de la Constitucion.
The incident occurred at around 9pm and completely shattered most of the glass wall of the business.
Photos taken by the Spanish Eye show the aftermath of the crash, with huge panels of glass piled up on the ground, below the destroyed black metal barrier.
‘It was crazy, we just heard this huge bang and a smashing sound,’ one local resident told this newspaper.
‘The Policia Nacional and firefighters came really quickly and the car was taken away within an hour.’
There are not reported to be any serious injuries from the incident.
