Three Andalucia provinces have been placed on alert this Sunday for heavy rainfall and intense thunderstorms.
The yellow warnings, issued by state weather agency Aemet, cover parts of Huelva, Cadiz and Almeria.
According to meteorologists, up to 15mm per m2 of rain could fall in one hour in the affected areas.
The alert in western Andalucia covers the whole of Huelva province and the majority of the Atlantic coast of Cadiz, up to and including Barbate.
The alert, which also warns of intense storms, is in place between 2pm and at least 11.59pm on Sunday.
On the other side of the region, a yellow alert is also in place for rain and storms in coastal areas of Almeria, including Mojacar and Carboneras.
The warning, according to Aemet, is in place between 6pm and 11.59pm.

According to weather experts at El Tiempo, the wet weather on Sunday is only the beginning, as a ‘carousel’ of Atlantic storms is set to follow throughout the week.
Starting Monday and continuing into next weekend, a series of Atlantic systems will bring widespread rain, particularly across western Spain.
Regions like Galicia, northern Extremadura, southern Castilla y Leon and western Andalucia will see the heaviest rainfall.
Showers are expected throughout next week across Andalucia, including along the Costa del Sol, although the temperatures will remain above 20C.
