A convicted British drug trafficker who has been on the run for more than three years could be hiding in Spain, police have warned.
Jonathan McAllister, 32, was sentenced in absentia to 20 years at Sheffield Crown Court in May 2022, after he failed to appear for sentencing.
He had been found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, conspiracy to supply ketamine, possessing criminal property and conspiracy to contravene customs laws.
McAllister was brought down following an investigation by the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YHROCU), and is known to have links to Spain.
The force has now issued a fresh appeal to locate him, warning that he may be hiding in Spain.
British fugitives often flock to areas like the Costa del Sol, where they are able to easily blend in with the expat community.
McAllister played a key role in importing 90kg of cocaine and 10kg of heroin from the Netherlands to an industrial estate in Ecclesfield, Sheffield, with an estimated street value of £9.5million.

Police also seized 11kg of cocaine and 6kg of heroin en route to an industrial estate in Barnsley, with an estimated street value of more than £1.25 million.
A raid on a lock-up linked to McAllister unearthed 15kg of ketamine, before £25,000 cash was found at his home.
McAllister is described as a white male, of slim build, 5″11′ (182cm) in height, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.
