Two people were rescued after becoming stranded on an inflatable kayak that drifted out to sea off a beach in Malaga on Friday.
Firefighters and the Maritime Rescue service responded to reports that the pair were in difficulty off Campo de Golf-San Julian beach.
It came after their rubber vessel was carried away by the strong currents.
Fortunately, the two occupants managed to make it safely back to shore under their own steam before emergency crews reached them.
Firefighters launched a rescue boat as a precaution and also escorted several other beach users safely back to shore amid concerns about conditions.

A rescue van and a support vehicle from Malaga’s Central and Carretera de Cadiz fire stations were also deployed to the incident.
The operation was completed without injuries.
