A manhunt is underway following a savage stabbing in Mijas on the Costa del Sol.

The attack occurred at a cannabis club at around 5pm on Wednesday.

The victim, a 34-year-old man, was pictured shirtless and with a screwdriver sticking out of his shoulder.

The stabbing is reported to have happened during a fight at the club.

The Guardia Civil has taken over the investigation but there have yet to be any arrests.

Sources from the Guardia Civil said the victim has not yet filed a police complaint.
