A funeral Mass for the 69 people killed in the Urda rail disaster will take place at Toledo Cathedral on November 12.
Archbishop Francisco Cerro Chaves announced the arrangements on Wednesday, saying the service will begin at 7pm and remember the victims and support their families.
Castilla-La Mancha president Emiliano Garcia-Page will attend, regional government sources confirmed.
The archbishop will lead the Mass alongside the region’s five bishops, Spanish Episcopal Conference president Luis Javier Argüello and other Spanish bishops.
Cerro said the service had been scheduled to allow bereaved families time to hold their own funerals first.

He said the archdiocese wanted to ‘pray for the victims and accompany the families whom we continue to hold in our hearts’.
Meanwhile, the director of Toledo’s El Buen Pastor diocesan retreat centre described the scale of assistance provided to relatives following the crash.
Marta Gomez said around 400 people had stayed overnight and close to 1,000 had received support during the week.
At least 50 to 60 people were actively helping at the centre at any given time, she added.
Gomez thanked public institutions, charities, businesses and volunteers, including the regional government, Toledo City Council, the provincial council, Caritas, the Red Cross and the Food Bank.
The collision between two high-speed trains near Urda on October 28 killed 69 people. Another 110 received hospital treatment in Castilla-La Mancha for injuries of varying severity.
