Three people – two of them children – have been injured following a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the A-7 motorway near Fuengirola.
The crash occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, around 2am, according to sources from Andalucia’s 112 Emergency Service.
The victims include a three-year-old girl, a ten-year-old child, and a 29-year-old woman. All three were transported to the Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella for treatment.
The accident took place at kilometre 1,018 of the A-7, and traffic was temporarily halted at the scene while emergency crews responded.
Units from the Fuengirola fire brigade, traffic division of the Guardia Civil, and ambulance services were all dispatched to the site, where they carried out rescue and medical assistance operations.
Authorities have not yet released details about the circumstances of the crash or the current condition of the injured.
