This is the moment diners in Marbella were robbed without even realising it.
In footage shared online, two men are seen sitting next to each other at the Buono restaurant along the seafront.
The man on the left has a bag on the floor beside him, which is spotted by an opportune thief who comes and sits on the table directly behind the two men, so that they are sitting back to back.
The professional criminal then starts playing around with his blazer, pretending to start putting it on.
He moves the blazer over the bag behind him and quickly steals valuable items before getting up and walking away.
The two men behind him and people sitting on another table barely noticed that he was there.
The robbery took place in less than 60 seconds.
The caption of the video reads: ‘Today we were robbed at the restaurant where I work at around 2.30pm. The restaurant is called Buono, it’s on the seafront.’
The clip is a reminder to always have your bags and valuables stored safely and within sight.
