A 22-year-old Renfe technician from Malaga has been confirmed among the dead in the Toledo train disaster.
Missing persons association SOS Desaparecidos revealed on Friday night that David Reina had been found ‘deceased’.
The organisation deactivated its appeal following a days long search by his family.
David was travelling in carriage eight of the AVE involved in Wednesday’s collision near Urda.
He had been working as a Renfe technician in Madrid for around a year and a half and was heading to Sevilla to visit relatives.

After the crash, friends and family circulated appeals seeking information about his whereabouts.
A Mango employee from Figueres has also been confirmed among those killed.
Andrea Olmos Vaquero was travelling in carriage eight of the Madrid–Sevilla AVE train involved in Wednesday’s collision near Urda.
Sources close to her family and friends confirmed her death to Catalan newspaper Empordà. Figueres mayor Jordi Masquef expressed condolences to her loved ones on behalf of the city.
