The family of a 23-year-old Tunisian man have appealed for help after losing contact with him following Wednesday’s train disaster in Toledo.
Yassin Eljawadi, who lives in Berlin, had been visiting Spain and was travelling towards Sevilla, according to his brother Amin.
Speaking to The Spanish Eye on Thursday evening, Amin said the family had received no news from him since the previous day.
Amin said Yassin had watched El Clasico during his trip, which included Barcelona and Madrid before his planned visit to Sevilla.
He was due to fly to Berlin from Sevilla on Saturday.
The family have circulated an appeal featuring a photograph of Yassin at Real Madrid’s stadium, hoping someone will recognise him and provide information.

The poster lists AVE service 2080 and carriage seven as possible travel details, but explicitly states that these have not been confirmed.
Amin said the family had contacted authorities in Spain but had not yet been able to locate his brother.
‘We are still looking,’ he said.
Anyone with information that could help locate Yassin can contact his family on +216 54 319 202 or +216 521 911 89.
