Reggae fans are being invited to head to Fuengirola this weekend as the Malaga Reggae Fest 2026 returns with a line-up of live music, DJs and prize giveaways.
The event, supported by the renowned Rototom Sunsplash festival, will take place at Bar & Café Bonnet in Fuengirola’s marina from 6pm.
Entry is free for children under 12, while organisers are promising an evening packed with roots reggae, dub and classic sounds from across the genre.
Andalucian reggae talent takes centre stage
Headlining the festival will be Andalucian reggae band Phango, known for their roots reggae sound and a mix of original material and classic reggae favourites.
They will be joined by rising singer Tenor Mario, one of the country’s fastest-growing reggae performers and a representative of Cool Up Records.
Festival-goers will also get a rare chance to see Peter Chaves performing live dub mixes, while veteran selector DJ Lion will be spinning reggae tracks spanning more than three decades of music history.
Win tickets to one of Europe’s biggest reggae festivals

As an added attraction, organisers will be giving attendees the chance to win a two-person pass for two days at this year’s Rototom Sunsplash, one of Europe’s largest reggae festivals, held annually in Benicassim, Castellon.
Additional festival merchandise and prizes will also be handed out during the event.
Where and when?
The festival takes place on Saturday at Bar & Café Bonnet, located at number 56 in Fuengirola’s marina, with music starting from 6pm.
With free entry for children, live performances, DJs and festival giveaways, organisers are hoping to attract reggae lovers from across the Costa del Sol for what promises to be a laid-back summer evening by the sea.
