Emergency services at the scene in Los Boliches on Thursday

Fuengirola woke up to a horrific scene on Thursday after after a 65-year-old man was found dead in his home.

He was allegedly stabbed to death by his son, 36, who also attacked his mother before fatally throwing himself off the balcony.

The mother is injured but is still alive, according to reports, while another son in the home, who is disabled, witnessed the incident but was not harmed.

The events occurred at around 8.50am in the Los Boliches area.

Paramedics and police rushed to the scene, with photos shared online showing a significant emergency response.

The investigation suggests that the son killed his father, attacked his mother, and then took his own life, although the hypothesis has yet to be confirmed.
