Jeremy Irons has been stealing the show at Sevilla’s iconic April Fair (Feria de Abril) this week – with locals praising his ‘most flamenco look’.
The legendary British actor, 76, is making good on his promise to attend the event, which he made while chairing the jury of the city’s film festival last November.
The Academy Award winner arrived to the centuries-old celebration on Tuesday, when he met with regional president Juanma Moreno.
Moreno shared a photo of the pair together, writing on X: ‘The Sevilla April Fair transcends borders and is the pride of Andalucia and all of Spain!

‘Thousands of Andalucians and visitors, such as actor Jeremy Irons, are already enjoying it.
‘We are delighted to share our traditions with everyone.’
Irons was certainly rocking a look on Tuesday, wearing a knee-length blazer, smart trousers and shirt.
He completed the outfit with brown riding boots (very on theme for the horse-filled event), a red and white polkadot neck tie, round sunnies and a cordobes hat.
One local on X praised Irons for his ‘most flamenco look’ ever, saying it was ‘half Paco Clavel and half of a Tio Pepe bottle’. Paco Clavel is an eccentric Spanish musician known for his bold looks.
After posing for selfies with fans on Tuesday, Irons was back again today to attend a traditional bullfighting event known as the Real Maestranza de Sevilla.
The veteran of film and stage took his place in the stands at the Baratillo bullring, which opened its doors at 7pm tonight.
Irons is attending the 12th bullfight of the 2025 season, featuring world-famous matadors, including Roca Rey, Juan Ortega and Miguel Angel Perera.
