Vigilantes have vowed to ‘track down’ a ‘deplorable thug’ who was filmed killing his ex-girlfriend’s cat in Torrevieja.
The man, who we can only identify as A.C.C.P for legal reasons, was arrested and released under investigation by police.
It came after video emerged of him kicking and beating his ex-girlfriend’s cat Nala to death in the middle of the street.
The incident has sparked a furious outrage online, with vigilantes now vowing to ‘find him and serve justice’.
One said in a video posted online: ‘He has been released and this is not justice, justice is what we are going to give him… we’re going to find this piece of s**t… we have his name and his photo.’
It comes as a local cat charity revealed the cat’s name was Nala, as they shared a statement alongside photos – revealing that the cat ‘was affectionate’ with the man who killed her.

Proyecto Gatos Torrevieja said: ‘First and foremost, we want to send all our support and solidarity to Nala’s mother and her family.
‘We want to tell them that all the associations will do everything in their power to ensure that the little cat’s murder does not go unpunished.
‘Today we speak from a place of pain, but also from anger. Today we are not just four crazy women; we are an entire community demanding justice. Not revenge, JUSTICE! Because Nala deserves it.
‘We don’t want this to be just another case, and we certainly don’t want A.C.C.P to think or believe that killing the cat will get him off the hook.
‘It hurts so much to know that Nala was affectionate with him, with such a piece of trash…
‘We ask you all to please not let our anger and rage last only a week, to support everything! Everything that is being done regarding Nala.’
