A car was left overturned against the facade of a building in Marbella on Saturday morning after crashing into a roundabout and being launched into the air.
The dramatic accident occurred at the junction of Calle Valentuñana and Calle Jacinto Benavente, causing damage to street furniture and vegetation.
One resident told the Spanish Eye how they were awoken by a huge crashing sound.
They shared pictures taken from their balcony showing the vehicle overturned against a block of flats.
According to Emergencias 112 Andalucía, the alarm was raised at 7.35am, prompting an emergency response involving firefighters, Local Police and paramedics.
Initial reports suggest the vehicle struck the roundabout with enough force to become airborne, flying over the central island before colliding with a palm tree.

It then overturned and came to rest against the facade of a nearby building.
It remains unclear whether the driver or any passengers were injured.
The investigation continues.
