Malaga is heading into a week of stable, dry weather with temperatures set to climb to levels ‘more typical of July’.
After last week’s rain and wind alerts, the province will see a complete shift in conditions, with no rainfall expected and no weather warnings currently in place across Andalucia.
The temperature rise will be gradual, but noticeable from Tuesday onwards, according to state weather agency Aemet.
In Malaga city, temperatures are forecast to rise from around 20C at the start of the week to 23C by Tuesday and 25C by Wednesday – where they are expected to remain through to the weekend.
Along the coast, conditions will be ideal for early beach days. Marbella is also expected to hit 25C, while Velez-Malaga could climb slightly higher to around 26C.
Further inland, the increase will be even more pronounced.
In Antequera and Ronda, temperatures are expected to surge towards 27C by early next week, marking a sharp turnaround from the cooler conditions seen just days earlier.
The weather will remain settled throughout, with clear or lightly clouded skies and no sign of rain.
The result is a stretch of weather far closer to early summer than mid-April.
