This is the moment a gang of burglars were filmed fleeing an expat’s home on the Costa Blanca.

In CCTV footage shared online, three men dressed in all black and with face coverings can be seen jumping over a wall.

They had allegedly just targeted a home in the Natura Park urbanisation in Benijofar, an area popular with British expats.

The men fled the scene in a Porsche Cayenne, the same car which local Brits said has been linked to a series of other robberies and muggings in the area.

Signe Svanka, the expat who shared the video last week, said: ‘Last night, on May 15, between 3.14am and 3.25am, thieves broke into our house and robbed us!

‘They were moving around in an old model Porsche Cayenne. Three men broke into the house. (We are not entirely sure, but it seems that one of them stayed in the car behind the wheel.)

‘We kindly ask everyone who has security cameras facing the road to check their footage around this time to see if this car appears. Maybe, with collective effort, we can find the criminals and prevent them from committing crimes in other homes.’

One expat commented: ‘This is not the first time a Porsche Cayenne in the area robs houses, I’m guessing its the same one!’

One Brit said: ‘This same Porsche has been involved in a number of robberies recently.’

Another said: ‘Probably the same gang that robbed me off my phone last night. One guy was waiting in a similar car, while the other guy grabbed my phone and ran like hell.’
