Vox would strengthen its position in Andalucia if a regional election were held tomorrow, a new poll has found.
According to the first Centra survey since May’s vote, the Socialists (PSOE) would lose further ground.
Meanwhile, the conservative Partido Popular would remain comfortably ahead on 41.5% of the vote, securing between 52 and 53 seats.
However, that would leave it short of the 55 needed for an outright majority in the Andalucian parliament.
The PP currently governs in coalition with Vox after winning 53 seats in the May 17 election. The new poll suggests the two parties would retain a comfortable combined majority.
The PSOE, led regionally by Maria Jesus Montero, would fall to 18.9% of the vote, down 3.9 percentage points from May.
Its representation would drop from 28 seats to between 23 and 26.
Vox, meanwhile, would rise by 2.3 percentage points to 16.1%, taking between 16 and 20 seats, compared with its current 15.
That would narrow the gap between the Socialists and Vox to just 2.8 percentage points.

Adelante also advances
On the left, Adelante Andalucia would increase its vote share to 12.5%, up 2.9 percentage points, and win nine or 10 seats against its current eight.
Por Andalucia would secure 6.5%, a marginal increase of 0.2 percentage points, leaving it with four or five representatives.
The figures suggest that the PP’s support has barely shifted, while the PSOE is losing ground as both Vox and Adelante improve their positions.
The survey, published on Monday, October 19, was conducted between September 11 and 25 among 3,600 adults living in Andalucia.
Centra is a public foundation attached to the regional government.
