Residents in Cancelada are coming together this weekend to support a local girl living with a rare genetic condition.
The Estepona village will host a charity night market on Saturday in aid of Noa, a young resident who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
The degenerative disease that affects motor neurons and can require costly treatments and therapies.
The event, organised by the Los Pasos de Noa association and local volunteers, will take place in Plaza Jose Vazquez from 6.30pm and promises an evening of community spirit, entertainment and fundraising.
More than 30 artisan stalls will be set up around the square, with all proceeds going towards helping Noa and her family.
Children will be able to enjoy workshops, a photocall and a treasure hunt through the village’s traditional patios, while visitors can also take part in raffles featuring prizes including an electric scooter and a jamon.
Entertainment will be provided throughout the evening by local performers who have volunteered their time to support the cause.
The programme begins at 7.30pm with a performance by the Son y Sal choir, followed at 8.30pm by dancers from the Solo Flamenco academy, directed by Ana Guerrera.

The evening will then finish with music from DJ Pepe from 9.30pm.
Organisers say the aim is not only to raise money, but also to raise awareness of SMA and show support for families facing the daily challenges that come with the condition.
The event takes place on Saturday, May 30, from 6.30pm in Plaza Jose Vazquez in Cancelada, near Estepona.
For locals and visitors alike, it offers a chance to enjoy an evening out while helping a family facing an extraordinarily difficult journey.
