A British tourist who vanished while driving back to the UK with her pet dog has been found.
Wendy Iles was last known to be outside Valencia, between Silla, Alfafar and Russafa on May 24.
The appeal stated that she was travelling with her beloved springer spaniel, Beau, nicknamed ‘Bozie’.
She had been travelling from Cumbre del Sol to Caen in France in order to catch a ferry back to Britain, but reportedly missed the crossing on Saturday, May 23.
On Tuesday afternoon, Wendy’s daughter told the Spanish Eye that she had been found.
‘Mum’s been found!’, she said, but added: ‘Police are still looking for the dog.’
Family members said Wendy and the dog are extremely close and have urged members of the public to look out for the pup.
Wendy is believed to have suffered a tyre blowout on a motorway near Silla, just south of Valencia city.
It is feared her vehicle – a white Mazda Bongo campervan with UK registration V233 HWA – may then have been stolen.

Authorities in both the UK and Spain have been involved in the search effort.
The appeal lists a UK police reference number of 442/25052026, while the Spanish police Interpol reference is IP-E-0000143174.
