Several people have been injured following a horror car crash on the A-367 near Ronda.
The crash happened at around 12.45pm on Friday, near the Venta del Abogado in the direction of Cuevas del Becerro.
Multiple calls alerted the 112 emergency service, triggering a rapid response from firefighters, the Guardia Civil and medical teams.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The driver of one car, who was travelling alone, escaped without injuries.
In the second vehicle, four people were travelling when the car overturned due to the impact.
All four occupants were injured but had managed to get out of the vehicle by the time emergency crews arrived.
Three of them were taken by ambulance to the Hospital de la Serrania de Ronda, including a 48-year-old and two women, one aged 53.
A fourth person was airlifted by helicopter due to the seriousness of their injuries.
The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
