Temperatures in inland Andalucia are forecast to climb to 31C next week alongside chilly nights and early mornings.
Sevilla is expected to reach 29C on Sunday, 30C on Monday and 31C on Wednesday, October 28, according to the forecast by state weather agency Aemet.
Cordoba and Huelva could both reach 29C on Wednesday, while Granada and Almeria are forecast to see highs of 27C.
The warming trend will create sharp contrasts between daytime and overnight temperatures.
Sevilla’s forecast ranges from 10C to 29C on Sunday, a difference of 19 degrees. Cordoba is expected to experience the same temperature gap on Monday and Wednesday.
Nights will remain cool inland through the weekend, with Cordoba dropping to 8C on Friday and Sunday. Sevilla will fall to 10C on Saturday and Sunday, while Granada is forecast to reach 9C on Saturday.

Coastal cities will have milder nights. Cadiz is expected to remain around 15C, Malaga between 14C and 15C, and Almeria between 15C and 17C through Monday.
Aemet spokesman Ruben del Campo said temperatures would rise towards the weekend, with a more pronounced increase across Spain on Sunday.
The warming will continue into next week, bringing temperatures above normal for late October and highs exceeding 25C across much of southern Spain.
Overnight temperatures should also gradually recover. Granada’s minimum is forecast to rise from 6C this Thursday to 12C next Wednesday, while Jaen’s will increase from 10C to 15C.
The outlook is dominated by settled, high-pressure weather, with rainfall expected mainly in northern Spain as next week begins.
