Around 40 people have been affected by a suspected food poisoning outbreak linked to a wedding in Malaga province.
One person required hospital treatment and Andalucia’s health authorities have launched an investigation to establish the source.
The regional health department confirmed that enquiries were under way, but further details about the suspected cause and the condition of those affected have not been released.
The latest incident occurred in Iznate, in Malaga’s Axarquia district.
It follows a separate outbreak reported a week earlier at a hotel in Benalmadena, where at least 40 people became ill after eating a meal.
Health investigators confirmed salmonella in the Benalmadena case.
However, no connection between the two outbreaks has been reported, and salmonella has not been confirmed as the cause of the illness in Iznate.
