Around 10 people have been evacuated and two mountain villages confined as a major wildfire continues to advance in inland Malaga.
The Infoca command post has also been moved after flames approached the emergency base established near Igualeja.
As a precaution, workers and owners have been evacuated from two roadside restaurants, Venta El Navasillo and Venta La Laja.
Ronda Town Hall said those affected, believed to number around 10, would be transferred to the town.
Residents of Igualeja and neighbouring Parauta have been ordered to remain inside their homes and other buildings because of the accumulation of smoke.
The confinement of Igualeja was announced on Sunday morning, while people in Parauta received an ES-Alert emergency message on their mobile phones at around midday.
The main A-397 road between San Pedro de Alcantara and Ronda has been closed because of the fire.
The MA-7304 also remains shut to traffic.
Andalucian authorities are maintaining Operational Situation 1 of the regional wildfire emergency plan.
Some 170 forest firefighters, six Infoca fire engines and 22 aircraft are now involved in efforts to bring the blaze under control.
The aerial response includes helicopters, water bombers, amphibious aircraft and a coordination plane.
They are being supported by 12 operations technicians, two extinction specialists, a specialist wildfire command team, logistics personnel and four environmental officers.
Malaga’s provincial fire service has also sent 20 firefighters and five vehicles, while the Guardia Civil is assisting with the wider emergency operation.
Meteorological, medical, communications and technical units remain stationed in the area.
The fire began shortly before 11pm on Saturday in the Mirador de Igualeja area, beside the road connecting Ronda with the Costa del Sol.
It is burning close to the Sierra de las Nieves National Park, although officials have not confirmed whether the flames have entered the protected area.
The A-397 currently separates the fire zone from the national park.
Local reports indicate that the flames have been moving away from Igualeja and towards the Valle del Genal.
