A huge new luxury development is taking shape on one of the last remaining stretches of undeveloped beachfront on the western Costa del Sol.
Known as Nubay, the ambitious project in Manilva will bring 66 high-end apartments and penthouses, alongside just five exclusive villas, to a privileged plot directly on the Mediterranean shoreline between La Duquesa and Sotogrande.
Current prices range from €990,000 to €2.7million, depending on the size of the home.
The development sits just 100 metres from the beach and promises uninterrupted sea views, direct beach access and extensive landscaped gardens designed to blend into the surrounding coastline.
Developers have earmarked 5,000 square metres of private gardens for residents, while a further 13,500 square metres of public green space will separate the homes from the seafront.
The aim is to preserve panoramic sea views while ‘creating a natural environment filled with native Andalucian plants and flowers.’

The apartments will be available in two, three and four-bedroom layouts, all featuring large terraces overlooking the Mediterranean.
Meanwhile, the five villas will offer an even higher level of privacy and exclusivity in what is expected to become one of Manilva’s most sought-after addresses.
The developer says the location places residents ‘within easy reach of some of the coast’s most prestigious destinations.’
Sotogrande’s polo fields and marina lie just minutes away, while Marbella, Gibraltar and the beaches of Tarifa are all within comfortable driving distance.

The nearby surroundings include the La Duquesa Marina, several golf courses, the beaches of Chullera and access to the Los Alcornocales Natural Park.
The project reflects the growing shift of luxury investment westwards along the Costa del Sol, as buyers increasingly look beyond Marbella for larger homes, lower density developments and genuine beachfront locations.
With prices for villas reaching well above €2 million and apartments already attracting strong interest from international buyers, Nubay is expected to become one of the most significant residential developments ever launched in Manilva.
For a municipality that has long sat in the shadow of Marbella and Sotogrande, the arrival of Nubay signals a new chapter.
