A new storm system moving into Spain this weekend is expected to bring a sharp drop in temperatures across Andalucia along with several days of rain, according to state weather agency Aemet.
Forecasters say the change in weather will begin on Saturday and could last through to Tuesday, bringing a noticeable contrast to the recent warm spring conditions.
However, eastern Andalucia will see wet weather from Thursday, with the whole of Almeria province and parts of Granada and Jaen on a yellow alert for rain and wind.
The alerts from Aemet are in place from 6am and until as late as 9pm, with storms to be accompanied by hail in some areas.
Looking into the weekend, the biggest temperature drops are expected inland and across the Guadalquivir valley.
Sevilla is forecast to fall from 27C on Friday to 23C on Saturday, while Cordoba will drop from 26C to 23C. Granada is expected to fall from 24C to 21C and Jaen from 25C to 22C.
Some areas could see temperatures plunge by as much as 4C, including Moron de la Frontera, Loja, Linares, Alcala la Real and Ronda.
Coastal areas are expected to experience a less dramatic change, with temperatures remaining relatively stable in places such as Cadiz, Algeciras and Almeria.
However, showers are predicted on the Costa del Sol on both Saturday and Sunday.
Although temperatures may recover slightly on Sunday in parts of eastern and central Andalucía, conditions are expected to remain cooler than earlier this week.

Monday’s forecast still shows relatively mild but subdued temperatures, with highs of around 22C in Sevilla and 24C in Cordoba, Granada and Jaen.
Minimum temperatures are not expected to fall significantly, meaning the biggest difference will be felt during the daytime.
At the same time, AEMET is forecasting rain spreading across much of Andalucia from Saturday onwards.
Current projections suggest wet weather could continue into Tuesday, although meteorologists say there is still some uncertainty over the exact path and intensity of the low-pressure system.
The rainfall is expected to affect large parts of the region over the weekend, potentially bringing an abrupt end to the recent dry and sunny spell enjoyed across southern Spain.
