A missing 15-year-old British girl has been located three days after vanishing from Malaga, her parents have said.
According to the online appeal, Olivia had been missing since Saturday evening.
Her family believed she was with a 21-year-old man who is said to be her ‘boyfriend’ – but claimed he denied knowing her whereabouts.
The appeal by her mother read: ‘Olivia has been missing since Saturday evening. She got a lift to Malaga with a friend where she said she was meeting other friends and staying the night at friend’s house. We of course had no issue with this.
‘But she did not arrive at her friend’s house. Despite her friend trying to contact her. It is believed she has a boyfriend who is 21 and lives in Alora.
‘We assume she is there with him despite us calling him and him denying it. Olivia has done this before but never this long and this time we have heard nothing since Saturday evening when she messaged she had a low battery and was on her way to her friend’s and would message when she was there.’
However, in an update on Tuesday night, her father said in a statement: ‘She and the man were found by police in Alora, thanks everyone for sharing and the power of social media etc.
