Sevilla Airport will offer much more choice for travellers this year after announcing four new routes to European hotspots.

The connections to be added in 2025 will be Berlin (Germany), Lyon (France), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Milan (Italy).

The new routes will be serviced by easyJet an will begin operating on October 27. Each route will have two weekly flights.

Sevilla mayor Jose Luis Sanz said: ‘I want to express my gratitude for easyJet’s commitment to consolidating our city as a key hub for European connectivity and opening up new opportunities for tourism, investment, and Sevilla’s international presence.’

Sevilla Airport now has more than 87 direct routes and has achieved a 13.8% growth in passenger numbers.

Luis Sanz added: ‘Each new route opens the door to new opportunities, sustainable growth, and job creation.

‘We are experiencing a historic moment in terms of air connectivity, and it is not the result of chance, but rather the result of a clear, shared, and ambitious strategy.’
