THIS is the moment a car burst into flames on the road to Benahavis on the Costa del Sol on Friday.
Footage shared online shows traffic stopped in each direction as flames and smoke billow from the vehicle.

A single firefighter can be seen dousing the car with his hose, being sure to keep a safe distance.
The clip was uploaded by community Instagram page Marbellasequeja.
It wrote in the caption: ‘Fire of a vehicle on the Benahavis road, fortunately no injuries were reported.
‘Thanks to the quick intervention of the firefighters, there was only material damage.’
The Benahavis road connects the hillside town of the same name with Marbella and the coast below.
It is not yet known if the car the exploded was an electrical vehicle.
It comes after a car park in Madrid exploded this week when an electric car crashed into a row of parked cars.
The collision caused a spark and the car set on fire, before spreading the other vehicles, setting off a series of explosions.
Two firefighters lost their lives putting out in the inferno.
