THIS is the tense moment an ‘anti-squatter’ force reclaimed an occupied home in southern Spain.

Footage shared by Anti-Okupas Group shows its workers banging on the front door of a luxury villa in Mijas, a town around 30km east of Marbella that is hugely popular with British expats.

The men, dressed in black uniforms and matching berets, are heard asking the squatters inside to open up.

The leader of the pack then kicks the door in and rushes inside the property while his colleague films from behind.

Suddenly a chair is seen flying towards the ‘agent’ which he manages to deflect with his arms, before the men storm in and chase the illegal dwellers.

The clip then cuts to the men handing back the keys to what appear to be foreign owners, as he asks them in English: ‘Are you happy?’

He later speaks to the camera outside the property, boasting of how his team ‘successfully vacated the property without losing a single tooth.’

Squatting is a serious issue in Spain due to the country’s extremely pro-tenant laws, which critics say are far too easy to take advantage of.

British homeowners are among the most at risk as they often travel or return to the UK for extended periods of time.

Burglars and squatters even have a code which sees them mark front doors with symbols, letting their accomplices know whether a home is empty or when it will be.
