Weather alerts across Spain on Monday: Severe heat in Malaga – but heavy RAIN in Alicante, Valencia and Mallorca

The provinces of Cordoba and Jaen are under an orange warning for maximum temperatures of 41C.

Dozens of weather alerts have been issued for severe heat and rain across different parts of Spain on Monday. According to public weather forecaster Aemet, Valencia, Alicante and Mallorca will be met with showers for the majority of the day.
