Three people have been injured after a car mounted a bar terrace on the Costa del Sol on Monday night.
The incident occurred in Frigiliana at around 7.30pm on Calle San Sebastian, one of the village’s busiest streets.
Multiple witnesses called 112 Andalucia to report that a vehicle had crashed into people sitting outside a bar.
Emergency operators dispatched paramedics, firefighters and Local Police officers to the scene.
Paramedics treated three people who had suffered injuries in the collision. The severity of their injuries has not yet been disclosed.
Firefighters were also mobilised but ultimately did not need to intervene.
Authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
According to information provided by emergency services, investigators are examining whether the female driver may have suffered a medical episode while behind the wheel.
