Property developer Kronos Homes has begun construction on two major new residential projects in Mijas and Torremolinos.
The projects, named The Kove and Kosmos, will deliver a total of 270 homes, backed by a combined investment of €101 million.
The company says the move underlines its long-term commitment to the Costa del Sol, a region it describes as ‘strategic’ due to strong demand from both domestic and international buyers.
The Kove: Nature-inspired living in Mijas
The larger of the two developments, The Kove, will be built in Mijas and include 166 homes with one to three bedrooms.
Designed by architect Manuel Clavel in collaboration with HCP Estudio, the project takes inspiration from the surrounding landscape.
Kronos describes the concept as ‘habitable cliffs’, with architecture that blends into the natural environment.

Residents will have access to a range of shared facilities, including two swimming pools, a spa, a fully equipped gym and coworking spaces, all set within landscaped gardens.
Homes at The Kove are currently priced between €359,000 and €500,000.
Kosmos: Sea views in Torremolinos
In Torremolinos, the Kosmos development will offer 104 apartments, all designed with large terraces and sea views, set next to a Mediterranean pine forest.
Like The Kove, Kosmos will feature premium amenities such as a pool, spa, gym and coworking areas.
Prices for these properties range from €405,000 to €545,000.

Kronos Homes says both projects reflect increasing demand for high-quality housing in prime locations across Málaga province.
CEO Luis Rodríguez de Tembleque said the developments are designed to combine ‘wellbeing, architecture and connection with the environment,’ responding to buyers looking for lifestyle-focused homes.
