A motorcyclist has died following a traffic accident in Torremolinos, according to emergency services.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Friday on Avenida de la Libertad, near the roundabout by the Palacio de Congresos.
Several witnesses alerted 112 after seeing the rider fall from the bike and remain injured on the road.
Paramedics from the 061 emergency health service and officers from the Local Police rushed to the scene.
Despite their efforts, medical teams confirmed the rider had died.
The Policia Nacional were also notified to begin the judicial protocol required in such cases.
Early indications suggest no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
