A mother and daughter are among the latest victims of the Cordoba train tragedy to be named.
Ana Martin Sosa and Josefa Sosa Casado had been missing since news of the collision emerged on Sunday night.
At least 41 people have died after an Iryo train heading from Malaga to Madrid derailed in Adamuz, before colliding with a Renfe Alvia train traveling in the opposite direction.
Ana and Josefa were confirmed among the dozens of fatal victims by the town hall in Isla Cristina in Huelva on Tuesday, where they both lived.
The news reached the town hall from the victims’ immediate family, who had released their photos on Monday in an attempt to get some information.
The two victims, who were traveling from Madrid to Huelva, were friends of the singer Manuel Carrasco, who shared his grief on social media.

He wrote: ‘What a terrible loss, my God! I just found out that Pepi and Ana, mother and daughter, from my hometown of Isla Cristina, whom I’ve known forever, are among the victims of this horrific accident.
‘I’m so sorry, my friend Carlos, so very sorry. I’m sending you and your whole family a big hug.’
The artist continued: ‘How unfair life can be… How much pain my Huelva and my homeland of Andalucia are experiencing.
‘Thank you to everyone who is helping, and much strength to all those working on the rescue efforts. My love to all the families who are suffering.’
