The family of a Scotsman who vanished from Portugal on Tuesday say there have yet to be any sightings or updates.

Greg Monks, 38, disappeared from the party strip of Albufeira while enjoying a night out as part of a stag do trip.

In an update last night, his sister Jillian said police were focusing their search on the area of Cerro de Aguia.

She said: ‘There has still been no sightings or no updates at present! As previously stated this is so unlike Greg and we are truly desperate for answers.

‘I am now seeking help from residents of the Cerro de Aguia area to please check any home cameras or doorbell footage between 2am and 5am, as police believe he was in the area around this time.’

She urged anyone with cameras that cover any part of the area to get in touch with her via Facebook, leaving their name and phone number.
