An incredible palace in Barcelona province could be yours for a steal after being placed on the market for just €475,000.

The historic home, known as Palacio Celeste or Torre d’en Carreras, is located in Manresa, a leafy town situated behind two natural parks and around an hour’s drive inland from Barcelona city.

Cottage Properties, the real estate firm managing the sale, explains: ‘This property is part of Manresa’s heritage and offers a journey through time thanks to its stately architecture and privileged location.’

The description brands it the perfect purchase for history buffs or those with a knack for renovation.

Indeed, the property will need vast amounts of TLC, but there is a lot to work with thanks to its gorgeous original features, including unique wall and floor tiles, palatial staircases and bespoke archways.

The home sits on a plot of 8,231m2, while the home itself measures 895m2.

The historic home, known as Palacio Celeste or Torre d’en Carreras, is located in Manresa, a leafy town situated behind two natural parks and around an hour’s drive inland from Barcelona city.

The description adds: ‘Strategically located, this mansion was built over 100 years ago…

‘Its building is distributed over three levels, maintaining original elements that reflect its historical splendor.

‘Additionally, this property has permits for both residential use and the opening of a restaurant, significantly expanding its investment potential.

‘The tranquility and privacy of the location make this estate an ideal enclave for those seeking a residence with history and exclusivity.’

There are several living rooms with high ceilings and many rooms that can be converted into bedrooms or bathrooms, depending on the client’s goals.

The exterior of the property offers ‘extensive gardens with great potential for designing landscaped areas, inner courtyards, and recreational spaces.’
