An armed gang has been arrested for allegedly raiding a series of luxury homes on the Costa del Sol.
The group, made up of mostly Albanians, donned latex face masks and wigs to carry out their burglaries, police said.
The disguises were unearthed during raids on several properties by the Guardia Civil in Marbella and Mijas.
They also found three firearms and ammunition, two stolen high-end vehicles, seven duplicated number plates, luxury watches from prestigious brands and €39,465 in cash.
The total value of the recovered items exceeds €80,000, all of which has already been returned to its rightful owners.
The Guardia Civil dismantled the criminal gang following an investigation codenamed Operation Desproposito.

The operation led to the arrest of five people and the investigation of a further 11 suspects.
The probe began after a series of burglaries in luxury properties revealed a clear and repeated pattern.
Investigators said the gang deliberately selected victims based on their high purchasing power, tracking them to identify where they lived before carrying out the robberies.
During the break-ins, the suspects allegedly stole high-value items, taking elaborate steps to avoid identification.
Officers say the gang used latex masks and wigs to disguise themselves while committing the crimes.
Operation Despropósito was carried out by officers from the Guardia Civil de Mijas and remains ongoing, with investigators working to clarify whether the gang was involved in additional burglaries across the Costa del Sol.
