Two people have been arrested following a shooting involving two rival families in Malaga city.
The confrontation took place in the La Palmilla neighbourhood at around 3.10pm on Wednesday, according to the Policia Nacional.
Several shots were fired during the incident, but nobody was injured.
Officers later arrested two people and seized three long firearms.
The force’s Robbery and Violent Crime Unit has taken charge of the investigation, which remains open.
The incident follows another large-scale disturbance in La Palmilla in June, when 13 people aged between 20 and 45 were arrested after a fight involving knives.

That confrontation broke out at around 11pm on Calle Deva, where witnesses reported seeing several people carrying blades and others running through the street.
A woman was taken to Hospital Clinico with a stab wound, while three other injured people made their own way to Hospital Regional for treatment.
Police were deployed to the hospital to maintain security following their arrival.
