British authorities have renewed an appeal to find eight of the UK’s most wanted fugitives in Spain.
The British Embassy in Madrid issued the fresh alert last week in conjunction with the National Crime Agency, Crimestoppers, Spain’s Ministry of the Interior, the Policia Nacional and the Guardia Civil.
‘Four of the 12 most wanted fugitives from the United Kingdom have already been arrested. But we are still searching for the others,’ the embassy said.
Members of the public have been urged to study the photographs and report any information that could help locate the remaining suspects.
The eight men still being sought are:
- Dean Eighteen, accused of money laundering
- Derek McGraw Ferguson, accused of murder
- Kevin Thomas Parle, accused of murder
- Matthew Purves, accused of supplying Class A drugs
- Charlie Salisbury, accused of supplying Class A drugs
- Francis David Parker, accused of drugs offences
- Aleksander Kuksov, accused of money laundering
- Liam Michael Murray, accused of drugs offences
The appeal forms part of the UK Most Wanted 2026 campaign, which targets fugitives thought to have travelled to or settled in Spain.
Spain has historically been a popular hiding place for British criminals because of its large expatriate population, extensive coastline and frequent travel connections with the UK.
Some fugitives have managed to live among British communities for years using false identities.
Anyone who recognises one of the men is warned not to approach them.
Information can be given to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 900 926 111 from Spain or 0800 555 111 from the UK.
Tips can also be submitted through the organisation’s website.
Crimestoppers says callers are not required to provide their name and that information cannot be traced back to them.
